Choosing a spokesperson for your organization is a big responsibility. There can be many objectives achieved with the right spokesperson strategy such as increasing brand awareness, raising funds or celebrating and thanking the supporters of your business. 

Rhythm is proud to have developed Barberitos’ talent engagement proposal and supportive marketing strategy recently for National Champion and NFL Defensive Lineman Jordan Davis.  Working hand-in-hand with Davis’ agent at CAA, the Barberitos marketing team was able to scope a program before he transitioned from UGA to the NFL.  

The recent Georgia Bulldog football champion, now with the Philadelphia Eagles, is starring in the restaurant chain’s advertising and promotions and will continue through the rest of 2022. The partnership includes print, radio and television advertising and social media content along with the launch of a Limited Time Offer product, the “Double Heavy-D Jordan Davis Burrito,” which includes twice the ingredients of a standard Barberitos burrito. 

In addition, the rollout of the campaign was supported by a press release and aggressive media pitching.  Notable local and national press coverage has included, so far: Yahoo, NFL NBA News Now, Sponsorship Sport Business, Franchising.com, Sport Business, Restaurant News, Athens Banner-Herald,  Red & Black 

To adhere to the half-day photoshoot scheduled with Davis, Rhythm created a tight schedule of video and photoshoots with varying clothing to support four discreet concepts–each concept included photos, videos and scripts…Rhythm even secured a guest appearance by 50+ members of the UGA Redcoat Band to join in on the fun. 

For the rest of the year, Rhythm has created digital and in-restaurant assets to utilize the spokesperson partnership with Davis. Our team is honored to have worked with the Barberitos team during this partnership and is excited to see how the company will continue to grow throughout the rest of 2022.
