Rhythm Communications helped create, produce, promote, and staff the inaugural Rapha Clinic of West Georgia ‘Fore Your Health’ Golf Tournament Sponsored by CareTrack on July 19, 2021, at Sunset Hills Country Club in Carrollton, Ga. The event benefited the non-profit, faith-based charity serving uninsured people with their medical and dental needs in the West Georgia community. Regional companies and individuals played in the tournament as a way to give back to the non-profit.
To promote the first-ever golf tournament, Rhythm Communications wrote, distributed, and pitched a press release announcing the event and invited companies to participate and donate. Rhythm also promoted the event on both Rapha and CareTrack’s social media two-three days per week leading up to the event, during, and after on Rapha and CareTrack’s social media presence. Rhythm also supported the event with marketing collateral including branded golf shirts, hole sponsorship signage and more.
As an enhancement to the event, Rhythm engaged celebrity guest player UGA former football standout Travis Stroud to play in the tournament. Renowned golfer Rocky Shipes also showed off his swing as a way for players to donate directly to the clinic.
“We loved hosting a spirited competition while raising funds in support of Rapha’s mission to care for those in need,” said Rapha Board Chairman and DDS Bill Calhoun. “As the inaugural year, the event was a great success while helping our neighbors in need. We are already looking forward to next year.”
Since 2010, Rapha Clinic has offered its services free of charge to qualified residents in Carroll, Douglas, Haralson, Heard, and Paulding Counties. In addition to the health and dental care, Rapha patients receive spiritual support and guidance without forcing beliefs. It is through caring for the physical illness that Rapha has an opportunity to be a witness for Christ. The unconditional love and superior care provided by Rapha empowers patients to break the cycle of poor health and habits and improve their quality of life.
CareTrack Health is a fully integrated physician practice extension. The patient adherence system enables primary care physicians to monitor critically and chronically ill patient care plan adherence to proactively identify and escalate earlier interventions in-between appointments. CareTrack assists practices to prevent hospitalizations, close patient adherence gaps, improve quality measures, and drive more proactive screenings and services adoption. Patients are empowered to proactively manage conditions and assist the physician in identifying issues earlier.
