The Associated General Contractors of Georgia (AGC Georgia) joined forces with contractors from across the state to host construction students in high school for seven regional Workforce Development Alliance Skills Challenges. To prepare for the event, the Rhythm Communications team developed digital assets for the event, handled media relations, invited VIPs and managed on-site social media postings.

Rhythm created the marketing materials needed for the event such as social tiles, banners, flyers and signage. The team was dedicated to maintaining the AGC Georgia branding throughout all aspects of its digital and print materials. The materials promoted the event prior and on-site at the Skills Challenges.

In addition, Rhythm wrote a general press release to cover all the Skills Challenges along with dedicated press releases for each of the seven events. The team distributed and media pitched each market and garnered considerable media coverage.

The media and local VIPs were invited to witness their community’s students compete in the competition. These dignitaries included town mayors, city council members, school principals, city commissioners and more.

At each competition, Rhythm made sure to document the students, sponsors and industry leaders for a wrap up sizzle reels video. The team shared photos of the competitions for the organization’s social media channels throughout the day. The team even recorded a Facebook Live during the awards ceremony, so those who couldn’t attend could see the results in real time.

Rhythm was proud to attend the events and to witness and support AGC Georgia in making an impact and providing opportunities for high school students throughout the state.
